A rare opportunity for a dedicated and proactive individual to take full responsibility for the management of a stunning Scottish estate. Located in Aberdeenshire, the estate spans approximately 1,200 acres and includes arable farming, forestry, fishing, and a property portfolio. As Estate Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the estate on behalf of the owner. This includes general maintenance of the estate, its buildings, grounds and gardens, managing contractors for outsourced work, overseeing the estate''s commercial enterprises and handling administrative tasks and record keeping. An agricultural background would be beneficial, as while most of the farming is contracted out, the Estate Manager will still be expected to support during busy periods and oversee grain drying and storage. There are also a number of rental properties on the estate that will fall under your management. These are powered by a biomass heating system, which you will be responsible for operating and maintaining.
