Registered Mental Health Nurse
Qualification: Valid registration as a mental health nurse (RMN) with the appropriate professional body (e.g., NMC in the UK). Minimum 1 year expirience working as RMN Core Roles and Responsibilities Assessment and Care Planning: Developing comprehensive, patient-centered care plans by assessing physical, social, and mental health needs. Medication Management: Administering, monitoring, and reviewing medications and their effects on patients, adhering to legal and professional standards. Therapeutic Intervention: Building, maintaining, and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and their families to encourage engagement in treatment. Risk Assessment and Management: Identifying risks to self or others, creating safety plans, and using de-escalation techniques during crises. Advocacy and Support: Empowering patients to take control of their health, acting as their advocate, and ensuring their voice is heard Acute Inpatient Units/Hospitals: Assisting with admissions, intensive care, and daily psychiatric care.
