You will play a key role in the cutting and processing of materials using CNC laser cutting machinery, supporting the delivery of high-quality components to tight tolerances. This role would suit an experienced operator with a strong attention to detail and a background in fabrication, steel, or heavy manufacturing environments. The Role As a Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting, operating and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce components in line with engineering drawings and production schedules. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will ensure output meets quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (e.g. Trumpf, Bystronic or similar) Interpret engineering drawings, job sheets and cutting programmes Select appropriate materials, tooling and machine settings for each job Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to ensure optimal cutting quality Carry out first-off inspections and in-process
