Watch this short clip to discover how Arup are shaping a better world and how you could be a part of it!The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a chartered Mechanical Engineer who is looking for technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects, to become a permanent member of our creative, friendly Building Engineering Team in London. You will work on some of the most exciting and innovative buildings across the world with leading architects. The team are currently involved in projects world-wide from feasibility stage through to practical completion. Current and recent projects include residential and social infrastructure projects such as Ebury Bridge Estate and Canada Water; rail projects such as Sydney Metro, Copenhagen Metro and Euston Station; commercial developments such as 6-8 Bishopsgate, 90 Long Acre; and a variety of projects such as large refurbishments in active buildings, residential projects with high sustainability targets and developing and delivering decarbonisation strategies. The focus of our work is split between new build developments and retrofit/refurbishment projects, given the drive towards both increasing sustainable solutions and supporting our clients reduce the carbon impact of their buildings.
