ISAM’s technology stack is primarily developed in-house and (where appropriate) shared between business lines. Our core technology platform is Java, Linux, KDB, Python and Postgres, with satellite processes in C#, Javascript, React etc.

ISAM Capital Markets combine innovative technology and robust risk management to identify trading opportunities and provide electronic liquidity in spot FX, Futures and Index Swaps to retail and institutional clients. High-performance, distributed systems handle high message rates, large order bursts, and significant market risk. Using pinned cores, DMA buffers, Kernal-Bypass networking, lock-free and garbage free programming techniques, the microservice architecture operates at single digit microsecond speeds.Key Responsibilities

In addition to researching, developing and managing the technology stack, from price construction to risk management and order execution, the Trading and Technology team deal directly with our liquidity providers on the sell-side and partner closely with IS Prime’s coverage team who own the relationship with our clients.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

•

Strong academic background in a numerate or technical subject

•

Quantitative model-based trading experience in spot FX, futures or fixed income markets

•

Ability to work closely with quantitative researchers to implement front office trading components

•

Experience of LMax technology stack, including Aeron, Disrupter, Artio, Agrona, SBE

•

High degree of proficiency in Java (including code profiling/JMH tools techniques)

•

Team oriented mentality

•

Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and ownership skills

•
