Composite Stress Team Leader - Aerospace - Bristol UK. Our Aerospace Client based in Filton UK have a requirement to support their Technology design programs, concentrating on Composite formed spars, spar tool design, AFP design and RTM products. A Composite Stress Team Leader is required for their advanced composite technology programme. The candidate must have strong technical experience with composites, preferably with next generation advanced composites and composite wingtips. The aim of the program is to develop new composite methods to accurately predict the strength and performance of composite structures using next generation manufacturing techniques. To accomplish this, several composite structural wingbox type demonstrators are planned to be designed, manufactured and tested to validate the stress and manufacturing methods and gain insight to the performance of the composite technology.. Stress Team Leader: The team leader will lead a small team 1-3 engineers in providing stress and technical analysis of a number of wingtip composite demonstrators. The candidate must have strong technical experience with composites, preferably with next generation advanced composites and be able to make key technical decisions, interface with technical stakeholders and be able advance the creation of stress methodology to assess next generation composite structure.
