As the Design Manager, you will lead and manage the design development within each DNO for the capital programme. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and overseeing the delivery of designs across various projects and portfolios from initial feasibility through development, construction, and commissioning. You will manage and lead your design teams, including performance management, employee engagement, team briefings, and career development.You will be accountable for ensuring design solutions meet technical requirements, are constructible and operable within our operational safety rules. You will provide managerial and technical leadership in developing solutions and leading on the technical interface with external design organizations.
