role at TieTalent. Core subject tutoring (Maths, English, or Science) for young people with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Cheshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet a wide variety of needs.We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN / SEND, and to support children and young people with SEMH, MLD, and SLD. This role is suited to qualified SEN / SEND tutors who prefer 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes.We offer a team around the child, with support from our SEN / SEND Support Specialists throughout each placement.What we offer our SEN / SEND Tutors

Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Needs referred to Targeted ProvisionSupport young people referred by local authorities and schools with educational and social-emotional needsDeliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoringSEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities
Plan each teaching / tutoring / mentoring sessionDeliver holistic, engaging sessions meeting individual needs and supporting educational and social-emotional developmentComplete lesson reports and provide feedback on progressSEN / SEND Tutor requirements
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)Minimum 2 years teaching experienceExperience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational NeedsUnderstanding of safeguarding processesEnhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)Two professional referencesYou must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote workIt is a strict requirement that you promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.SEN / SEND Tutor employment status
