September 17, 2025Our client is a world leader in energy services, and they are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to add talent to their team! This role will be based in Greater Manchester and will be working within their Social Housing division.This would be the ideal role for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in the social housing or local authority sector looking for a new role or for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for their next step in their career.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the day-to-day commercial control, reporting, and management of multiple projects from award up to final account.Responsibilities

Responsible for a team of quantity surveyors, you\''ll have effective commercial control of all allocated projects, including the provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the reporting timetable, in particular CVR\''s, budget forecasts, completion of Contribution Action Plan and cash flow forecasts.In conjunction with the Procurement Team, you will ensure that the procurement of sub-trades and suppliers is undertaken in a timely and cost effective manner and manage the timely production of the main/sub-contract final accounts, including re-measurement as necessary to ensure the best result, evaluation and agreement of all variations, extensions of time, loss and expense claims.Qualifications

Experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor recentlyPost graduate experience within a surveying position reporting to either a senior surveyor or a commercial managerIT Skills - MS Office, Excel, Project, WordPrior experience of social housing sector or local authoritySalary
