Legal Director - Commercial Property (8+ PQE) - CheltenhamLocation: Cheltenham (Flexible and Hybrid)Type of Role: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £95,000 to £120,000Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading UK law firm in their search for a senior Commercial Property Lawyer (8+ PQE) to join their nationally recognised Real Estate team in Cheltenham. This is a strategic appointment within one of the largest and most respected commercial property departments in the country, offering the opportunity to lead on high-value transactions and shape the future of the team.
The Role
This leadership role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters. Responsibilities include:Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projectsManaging transactions across city-centre and rural locations, including retail, industrial, healthcare, and education sectorsProviding strategic legal and commercial advice to clientsSupporting and mentoring junior lawyers within the teamDriving business development and cross-selling initiativesCollaborating across the wider Real Estate and Planning teams
Qualifications
This role is suited to a senior commercial property lawyer with:8+ years PQE in commercial property lawStrong technical ability and drafting skillsProven experience managing complex transactions and client relationshipsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommercial acumen and a proactive mindsetAbility to work collaboratively and contribute to team successOrganised, detail-oriented approach with leadership capability
Working Arrangements
This role supports flexible and hybrid working, with a primary base in the Cheltenham office.
