• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of healthy and appealing school meals.

• Ensure all food preparation and kitchen practices comply with strict health and safety and hygiene standards.

• Manage stock control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school leadership to create menus that are both tasty and compliant with school food standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, cook, or in a similar kitchen role.

• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.

• The ability to work efficiently within a busy kitchen environment.

• Excellent knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety regulations.

• A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent service.
