• Experience of using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) desirable

Role Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Operative, where you''ll play a vital role in our daily operations! Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trailers, accurately picking orders, and utilising hand scanners to manage stock. This position calls for a commitment to physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment. Experience of using PPT equipment is desirable for this role

Pay and Shifts

• Monday to Friday and Weekends based on a 4 Days on 4 days off shift pattern
• Shifts - 2:30pm to 2:30am
• Pay between -12.71 to -1504 per hour

Requirements

Previous experience of warehouse work and familiarity with using PPT equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers.
• Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing.
• Utilising PPT equipment where required
• Sort and store goods with care.
• Prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy.
• Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred.
• Comfort with hand scanners is essential.
• Must be physically fit for manual tasks.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus!
