Job Purpose The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) supports the delivery of occupational therapy informed interventions for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) living in a residential setting. The role focuses on promoting emotional regulation, sensory integration, daily living skills, independence, and participation in meaningful activities, under the guidance of a qualified Occupational Therapist. Key Responsibilities Support occupational therapy plans through daily activities and routines. Help children develop emotional regulation, coping, and independence skills. Use sensory strategies and monitor children s responses to support needs. Build positive relationships and support children during emotional distress.
