Quality Inspector required to join a well-established Engineering company that specialises in Aerospace fine limit sheet metal work, based in the Reading area. Due to their ongoing succession, they are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to add to the Production team.Quality Inspector Job OverviewTo produce First Article Inspection Reports and to be able to use a CMM in support of this.To provide roaming and final inspection for all productsTo inspect incoming goods from sub-contract suppliersLiaise with customers/suppliers on all quality matters, queries and non-conformancesTo raise Certificates of Conformity and delivery documentation.To aid in the control of external and internal equipment calibrations.To raise sub-contract Purchase Orders on approved suppliersTo check First Off production partsLiaise with all levels of staff (management to shop floor) on all aspects of quality and continuous improvement opportunities.Support the management in developing a "continuous improvement" culture.To aid the maintenance of current approvals for AS9100 andNadcap.Other adhoc duties as agreed from time to time by the Chief Inspector/Quality Manager.Quality Inspector Job RequirementsEducated to HNC level or equivalent (engineering discipline desirable)Detailed knowledge of AS90100 Quality Standard2 years min Experience in a previous or similar Quality roleExperience of Management Systems auditing (Internal and External)Good Planning and Organising skills demonstrating attention to de
