KS3/4 ENGLISH TEACHER

APRIL 2026 START

Prospero Teaching is looking for a English teacher for a long term role, starting April 2026. You will be responsible for teaching English, both to KS3 and KS4. This position is expected to become a long-term role.

The English department has a stable team, with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ. Resources are plentiful and of a high quality, with lots of shared work schemes available.

The position is open to NQT''s/ECT''s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • English Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
