We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Assessment Worker to join our clients-team. This role is pivotal in assessing the needs and circumstances of families to provide appropriate support, guidance, and referrals for intervention. As a Family Assessment Worker, you will work closely with families, children, and other professionals to ensure that families receive the necessary services to improve their well-being and enhance child safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive family assessments to evaluate strengths, challenges, and support needs.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans, including referrals to relevant services and resources.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure holistic support for families.
• Provide emotional support, advocacy, and guidance to families during assessment and intervention processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and case files in line with organizational and legal requirements.
• Monitor and review progress of families and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in family assessments, child welfare, or related work is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse families and stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of child protection, family dynamics, and relevant legislation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
