About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups, helping students to achieve their full potential.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teaching staff, deliver lessons in the absence of a teacher, and provide targeted academic support to individuals and small groups.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups, or whole classes.Cover lessons in the short-term absence of teaching staff.Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs.Work alongside teachers to adapt resources and implement strategies to support progress.Monitor and report on student progress and attainment.Support behaviour management in line with school policy.Contribute to intervention programmes to raise achievement.Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:HLTA status or relevant qualifications/experience.Experience working within a secondary school setting.Strong literacy and numeracy skills.Confidence in leading whole-class learning.Excellent communication and organisational skills.The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.A commitment to supporting student achievement and wellbeing.We Offer:A supportive and ambit
