Service Manager – Learning Disabilities

Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Service Manager to lead and develop a high-quality service for individuals with learning disabilities. This role combines hands-on leadership with a commitment to empowering people to live independent and fulfilling lives.

• Lead a small-to-medium team and provide effective supervision and coaching

• Ensure the service promotes independence, safety, and meaningful community engagement

• Oversee operational responsibilities including rota planning, budgets, and practice standards

• Maintain compliance with sector regulations and best practices

• Observe staff practices across shifts to ensure consistency and quality

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role

• NVQ Level 3 or QCE Level 5 (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Understanding of safeguarding, DoLS, and positive risk-taking

• Confidence managing budgets and supporting financial viability

• Paid enhanced DBS check
