Financial Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-focused Financial Controller to oversee the full financial operations of the organisation, as well as those of an associated property development entity responsible for on-site construction projects.Working closely with senior leadership, this role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong compliance, and efficient financial processes across both businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and ForecastingPrepare and maintain a rolling six-month cash flow forecast to support effective short-term financial control.Produce and monitor a three-year cash flow forecast, including covenant calculations and working capital assessments.Daily and Monthly Financial OperationsComplete daily bank reconciliations.Manage sales invoicing, credit control and account reconciliations.Oversee purchase ledger processing, supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs.Administer monthly payroll, including pension auto-enrolment and statutory compliance.Manage employee-related matters such as leave entitlement, sickness, statutory payments and wage compliance.Handle customer and supplier queries.Prepare daily financial updates for senior management.Complete monthly credit card reconciliations for both entities.Reporting and ComplianceProduce accurate month-end and year-end management, statutory and financial accounts.Support external audit requirements where applicable.Monitor monthly KPIs and report variances.Submit monthly
