Roles and Responsibilities:

• Part of the maintenance and continuous improvement team, acting as the main engineering contact for production staff.
• Communicates effectively across teams, ensuring smooth coordination while maintaining productivity through planned maintenance and timely repairs.
• Responds quickly to breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and implementing long-term fixes to prevent repeat issues.
• Supports safety and operational standards by conducting risk assessments, training colleagues, assisting with new equipment installations, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Timeserved engineering apprenticeship (electrical)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experienced working within an FMCG environment.
• Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance.
