EHS Manager - South West
Are you a confident, hands-on Health & Safety professional who thrives on fast-paced industrial construction? This is a fantastic opportunity to join leading International Main Contractor on an Industrial project in the South West.
We are looking for a strong EHS Manager with clear construction experience. If you enjoy being embedded on site, working closely with project teams, and shaping best practice from the ground up, this could be the perfect fit.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of Health & Safety across a major industrial build, ensuring compliance, driving engagement and promoting a robust safety culture throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders, you’ll be the go-to safety lead on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Health & Safety activity on site, ensuring adherence to company and legal requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and incident investigations
- Support pre-construction planning with RAMS and risk assessments
- Deliver training, inductions and toolbox talks
- Influence and coach operational teams to maintain high H&S standards
- Promote continuous improvement and behavioural safety
About You
- Experience as a Health & Safety Manager within construction (industrial experience ideal)
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation
- NEBOSH
- Able to commit to Monday–Friday site presence with hotel stay provided
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-driven approach
- Full UK driving licence
