ROLE: Machine Operative

LOCATION: Wellingborough

HOURS OF WORK: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating

BASIC SALARY: -16.03

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: All breaks paid

Company Profile

Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. To manufacture their formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

In this Machine Operator role, you will:

• Setting and operating mixing machines
• Load and unload products
• Rotate across various machines often operating more than 1 at a time
• Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping
• Participate and contribute to daily briefings
• Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities
• Develop skills and support the team to deliver consistent results
• Support all areas of the business, manufacturing and supply chain

In order to be successful as a Machine Operator you must:

• GCSE/ NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) or 2 years'' experience in manufacturing operations
• Ideally a qualification in maths and English - must be competent in numeracy to read and understand numbers, batch cards and interpret technical instructions
• Experience in manufacturing / process industry
• Excellent verbal communication and team work skills to work with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets
• Desire to champion the company values
• Good understanding of company manufacturing
• Logical problem solving skills
