About the Role:

A forward-thinking secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a creative and passionate Art and Design Teacher to join their expressive arts faculty. The successful candidate will inspire students through a dynamic curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and individual expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Develop engaging schemes of work that explore a range of techniques and media
• Organise displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities
• Support students preparing for GCSE Art portfolios
• Maintain an inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements:

• QTS and a degree in Art, Design, or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering the Art curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and organisation
• A passion for creativity and cultural development
