MoveATech-is recruiting for a reputable manufacturing client in-Portsmouth-who is looking for a-Mechanical Assembler-to join their production team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with mechanical skills and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and work from engineering drawings and follow work instructions accurately
• Assemble components using hand tools and thread cutting techniques
• Use STTE (Specialised Tooling and Test Equipment) to complete assembly tasks
• Maintain attention to detail and quality standards at all times
• Work collaboratively in a team or independently as required
• Stand for long periods during shifts

Essential Requirements:

• Good grasp of English (written and verbal)
• IT skills, particularly MS Office
• Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments
• Ability to follow instructions and work from technical drawings
• Dexterity and attention to detail
• Flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach

Desirable / Additional Skills:

• Full driving license
• FL license
• Experience with small arms assembly
• Experience with pantograph/laser engraving, fly press, pillar drill, or linishing
• Fault finding and basic engineering knowledge
