Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with several excellent secondary schools in and around Rugby, who are seeking an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their team for the 2025/26 academic year. Whether you''re an experienced educator or an ECT ready to begin your teaching career, this is an exciting chance to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The Role:
As a Business Studies Teacher, you''ll be delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. You''ll bring the subject to life by helping students understand the world of business, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship through engaging and relevant content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Teach GCSE and A-Level classes, adapting teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities

• Support pupils'' academic progress through regular assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention

• Collaborate with colleagues in the Business and Economics department to maintain high teaching standards

• Encourage student curiosity, ambition, and resilience in the classroom

• Contribute to a positive school culture that values learning and personal development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome to apply)

• Have recent experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level (KS4/KS5)

• Be confident in classroom management and behaviour strategies

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching business concepts

• Be organised, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement

• Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
