We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mental Health Locum Social Worker to join this dedicated Mental Health social care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive service focused purely on statutory responsibilities under the Care Act.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will focus exclusively on statutory Care Act work, supporting adults with mental health needs to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning
Manage a caseload in line with statutory duties
Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders
Participate in safeguarding processes where required
Contribute to duty rota responsibilities
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working model with 40% office-based requirement
Mandatory team office days fortnightly on Tuesdays
Office presence required when on Duty, in line with the team rota
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current registration (e.g. Social Work England)
Experience working within adult social care and mental health services
Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and related legislation
Ability to manage workload independently and work as part of a team
Excellent communication and assessment skills
