CALLING ALL KS1 PRIMARY SCHOOL HLTA''S!Are you a qualified primary school HLTA ready to make a real impact? We''re recruiting dynamic educators to bring experience, skill, and professionalism to primary schools across Hinckley, Leicestershire. YOUR DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF:1. Professional Development and Collaboration Liaising with parents, teachers, and other professionals (e.g., SENCOs, therapists). Attending staff meetings and training sessions. Acting as a role model for other TAs and sometimes mentoring junior support staff.2. Classroom Management Supervising a class during short-term teacher absence or while the teacher is working with another group. Managing pupil behaviour in line with school policy. Creating a positive, supportive learning environment.3. Pastoral Support Providing emotional support and encouragement to pupils. Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour. Supporting pupils with personal, social, or emotional challenges. ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE: HLTA qualification (essential). Strong behaviour management skills. A minimum of 2 years'' UK HLTA experience. Excellent safeguarding knowledge, as well as safeguarding training (we can provide training).
