Senior Solution Architect

to design, develop, and implement architecture frameworks for a portfolio of web-based application upgrades.Candidates can be

remote in Canada , working CST hours.Must have:

7+ years experience as a

Solution Architect

with experience in

designing, developing

and

implementing frameworks

and

strategies

for multiple concurrent

web-based projectsExperience with architectural

modellingExperience identifying and documenting

system

specific standards related to

programming , documentation, and

testing , covering

program libraries ,

data dictionaries ,

naming conventions , etc.Experience defining and documenting

interfaces

of

manual

to

automated operations

within application sub-systems, external systems, and between new and existing systems.Experience with Duck Creek, Power Platform, or Celtic systems.Nice to have:

Recognized professional certificationPrevious experience in the insurance or public-sector industryResponsibilities:

Define architecture for web-based projects.Identify policies and requirements driving solutions.Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions.Ensure integration of all aspects of technology solutions.Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.Evaluate existing procedures, document database content, structure, and application sub-systems, and develop data dictionary.Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application sub-systems, external systems, and between systems.Define input/output sources and develop a detailed plan for the technical design phase, obtaining approval.Identify and document system standards related to programming, documentation, and testing.Perform architectural modeling for design consistency.Assess impact of new requirements on existing web applications.Define assumptions and constraints regarding physical structure and data collection.Develop post-implementation plan for monitoring architecture stability.
