We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract. This position is working Monday to Thursday, 07:30am 15:30pm and Friday, 07:30am 12:30pm. Salary on offer is £45K - £50K which is dependent on relevant experience. Our client is a leading and innovative organisation in a specialist defence related industry. The successful candidate will be qualified to SVQ/NVQ Level 5 or ONC/HNC (Minimum Level 4) or City and Guilds T4 or T6 in Mechanical Engineering, with a supporting EITB Approved Apprenticeship. You will have a good understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and the ability to apply them in an analytical and methodical approach, with 5+ years in a Mechanical Design/Manufacturing Environment A strong background in Design/Project Administration/Engineering is essential.
