Project Quantity Surveyor - Social HousingLocation: Kent Rate: 350 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 We are currently recruiting for several experienced Project Quantity Surveyors on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor.The successful candidates will be responsible for the commercial management of planned maintenance projects, with a particular focus on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes across Kent, South London, South Sussex and West Sussex.Key Responsibilities:Managing costs and commercial performance across multiple projects.Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.Pricing and managing works using Schedule of Rates (SOR).Producing forecasts and cost reports.Supporting procurement and subcontractor management.Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.Essential Experience:Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the social housing sector.Strong background in planned maintenance contracts.Experience with kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes.Good knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SOR).Strong commercial and analytical skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing contractor on a long-term temporary basis, offering a competitive day rate and flexible working arrangements.
