About the Role:

A forward-thinking secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their successful ICT andamp; Computing department. The school has invested in modern ICT facilities and values digital literacy as a core subject for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional based on experience)
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using a range of digital tools and programming languages
• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science and contribute to curriculum development
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
• Participate in enrichment opportunities such as coding clubs and competitions

Requirements:

• QTS (or QTLS) and relevant Computer Science or ICT teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of Python, Scratch, and computational thinking
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
