An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Private Markets investment team at one of the UK’s largest asset owners. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading or assisting in direct, co-investment and fund investment opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Source and assess new direct, co-investment and fund investment opportunitiesConduct detailed financial modelling and due diligence on investment opportunitiesSupport senior team at strategy level, helping to develop and implement strategic objectivesDevelop and maintain external relationships across the private equity community to ensure access to relevant deal flow and market intelligenceMonitor current investments to ensure performance in line with expectations and propose solutions to issues within the portfolioKeep abreast of the market environment and share insights with the wider teamQualifications:5-15 years relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, asset management, corporate finance or investment consultancyExcellent financial analysis skillsSolid experience developing financial models in private equity, banking, transaction services or fund managementStrong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree) from a top-tier universityAnalytically astute, with a good balance of quantitative and qualitative skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to perform under time pressure if necessaryStrong team player and highly effective at communicating ideasMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
