Salary up to £44,000p/a, pension, sick pay, holidays etc, free, secure on-site parking.The role of the HGV Technician:You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, including gritters, RCV s Refuge vehicles, Diesel and EV vehicles.The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to) Routine (and preventative) maintenanceMOT preparationScheduled servicing to DVSA standards6 (or 8) weekly inspectionsHydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical and wiring inspections and corrections Requirements for this HGV Technician position: Ideally you will be fully qualified (City and Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
