Due to an increase in caseload, the department is expanding and seeking a motivated individual to handle a litigated fast-track caseload on behalf of Claimants.This role requires a confident litigator who can manage files independently from issue through to settlement or trial.Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of litigated credit hire mattersHandle Part 7 claims from issue to conclusionWork within the DCP (Damages Claims Portal)Review files and determine case strategyAssess liability and quantum, review offers, and make settlement offersDraft reports in line with Credit Hire Organisation (CHO) requirementsLiaise with Defendant solicitors, insurers, and CHOsTake client and witness statementsDraft court documentation and correspondencePrepare and draft witness statementsNegotiate settlementsInstruct Counsel where appropriatePrepare cases for trial Additional Duties Maintain and update Management Information (MI) spreadsheetsProvide support on colleagues'' files where required (e.g. holiday cover) About YouApplications are invited from candidates with: A minimum of 2 years'' experience managing litigated credit hire files, or RTA
