About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join our team on an ad hoc, flexible basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is able to work as and when needed, covering daily shifts when required.

We welcome applications from Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as unqualified candidates who have relevant nursery or childcare experience.

Shift Patterns
Shifts are offered based on nursery needs and may include:

• 8:00am - 6:00pm

• 8:30am - 5:30pm

• 11:30am - 3:30pm

• 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Hours will vary, so this position would suit someone who values flexibility and is happy working different shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, learning, and development of children in the nursery

• Assist with activities that promote early years learning

• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to meet children''s individual needs

• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred) OR relevant childcare experience

• A valid Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce), or willingness to apply for one

• DBS application costs can be refunded after 20 days of work completed

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work at short notice when required

• A positive and caring approach to working with children
