HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our well-established client based in Filton, Bristol.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent weekday shifts, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.This role is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver / Truck Driver / CE Driver.Shifts: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday: 7am - 12pmRates of Pay: • £18.47 per hourBenefits:As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing, reliable work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts availableDay-to-Day Duties:As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Yard shunting around site • Operating and manoeuvring Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently within the yard • Completing daily yard and vehicle checks in line with site rules and health and safety guidelines • Ensuring all trailers and loads are positioned and secured correctly • Adhering to traffic laws, site regulations, and company procedures • Communicating effectively with transport and warehouse teams (radio use is essential) • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptlyEssential Skills:As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will need: • Minimum of one year''s experience driving Category CE vehicles • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence • No more than six penalty points for minor i
