Overview

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced fire door engineer/carpenter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working on mainly commercial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works to existing doors and frames. The works will be nationwide but will be mainly based across Leeds and North England, and will cover both internal and external door works. There will be aspects of the role where you will be working around members of the public, including but not limited to FED''s, corridor doors, riser cupboards and access panels.What’s on offer

Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doorsComplete works in line with the manufacturer’s specificationDocument works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accuratelyProblem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the workLiaise with customers and members of the general publicQualifications

At least three years’ experience working with fire doorsNVQ or equivalent in carpentry and joineryExperience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assembliesFull UK driving license3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)These vacancies are for a quick start after a short interview process.
