Job Role: 3 and 5 Axis CNC Miller (Aerospace) Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield (NG17) Salary: Dependant on Experience Overtime: Extensive opportunities available Role Overview: Seeking experienced CNC Millers to set and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines for high-precision aerospace components. The role involves working with Haas, Matsuura, and DMG Mori machines, primarily using Fanuc-based controls. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment Adjust offsets and program edits as required Maintain high standards of quality and safety Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges Requirements: Proven experience setting and operating 3 and/or 5 axis CNC milling machines Familiarity with Haas, Matsuura, and/or DMG Mori equipment Strong understanding of Fanuc controls Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Aerospace sector experience highly desirable Willingness to work overtime as required
