Fierce independence frees us to deliver an exceptional client service experience, unencumbered by pressure from financial markets, geographical divides or silos, or conflicts of interest between organisational goals and our clients’ needs.Owing to the success of our expanding International PandC business unit, Lockton Re is looking to hire a Senior Claims Specialist to join our London office, focusing specifically on Casualty and Motor business.Role ResponsibilitiesCover complex claims and negotiate claims matters such as ECO, ex-gratia, and non-standard presentations.Identify client’s individual requirements and work alongside them to achieve the best outcomes, embracing the client partnership ethos within Lockton Re.Foster a close working relationship with our production team.Proactively engage with reinsurers to manage queries and follow up on responses, focusing on delivering value-added service for our clients.Negotiate and process claims from initial notice through to settlement and closure.Knowledge of Indexation and the ability to calculate and process Reinstatements.Monitor held balances daily to follow our “pay as paid” process, working closely with our IBA team.Maintain excellent technical knowledge of the Lloyd’s and Company Reinsurance markets.Provide technical claim advice on contract wordings.Assist with mentoring and developing team members.QualificationsApplicants should demonstrate experience in the following:In-depth knowledge of IMR, CLASS, ECF, LORS, and preferably experience with Open TWINS.Experience dealing with large corporate clients.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, reinsurers, and colleagues, including RFPs and presentations.Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.Seniority level
