Accounts Assistant
Location: Northampton | Hours: Full Time | Salary: £27 to £32k

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for someone to join our friendly finance team as an Accounts Assistant and help keep our financial processes running smoothly! You’ll work closely with the Accounts Manager, managing payroll, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting reporting and month-end tasks.

What You’ll Do:

- Run payroll and HMRC submissions (Sage Payroll).
- Process receipts, payments, and invoices (Xero).
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end processes.
- Assist with financial reporting and ad-hoc admin.

You’ll Need:

- AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
- Excellent Excel Skills
- 3+ years’ accounts experience, with payroll knowledge.
- Confident with Xero, Sage Payroll, and Excel.
- Great attention to detail, organisation, and communication.
