Sales Engineer - Industrial Flooring

Location: East Midlands (covering Midlands & North East)
Salary: -38,000 (negotiable) + Quarterly Bonus + Annual Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We''re recruiting for a specialist contractor and manufacturer of industrial flooring systems with a strong reputation in commercial and industrial sectors. They''re looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to manage existing accounts and drive new business in the East Midlands and North East.

The Role:
Ideal for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys project-based work, long-term client relationships, and contributing to growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an existing client base

• Identify and secure new business opportunities

• Conduct site visits and develop tailored solutions

• Prepare and follow up on technical quotes and proposals

• Coordinate internally to support project delivery

• Assist with RAMS, planning, and handovers

• Maintain sales records and project tracking

• Represent the company at trade shows and events

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering

• Strong business development and account management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to interpret client needs and provide engineered solutions

• Full UK driving licence

• Experience with flooring systems, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or similar prefabricated products

Desirable:

• Background in construction or civil engineering

• Experience working with contractors, FMs, or end-users in commercial/industrial sectors
