JHE and Partners are working with a local business in Denby who are looking for an accounts assistant on a temporary. Supporting the director in the business, the role is expected to last 2-3 months and is expected to start at the beginning of July.Working closely with the director, the chosen candidate will be tasked with overseeing and maintaining the transactional finances of the department. It is therefore imperative you have relevant accounts skills for the role.Duties include:Matching, batching and coding purchase invoicesBank reconciliationsCreating and issuing sales invoicesReconciling the sales ledgerCredit control - chasing outstanding monies owed to the businessDealing with queries in relation to both ledgersVAT returns Daily and monthly bankingAd hoc finance duties as expected in a small teamThis is a lovely role working in very small finance function, therefore someone that is happy to work autonomously would particulrly excel in this position.Experience of Xero would be beneficial but not a deal breaker.The role is expected to last 2+ months with a start date of July 6th.
