Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes across the organisation.Role OverviewThe Accounts Administrator will support the smooth running of the accounts function, with a strong focus on high-volume purchase ledger processing (manual and EDI invoices). The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting both purchase and sales ledger activities, and assisting with wider administrative and month-end processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess high volumes of manual and EDI purchase ledger invoices accurately and on timeInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure timely supplier paymentsLiaise with internal teams to support accurate purchase order and invoice processingAssist with reconciliations, supplier payments, bank deposits and general financial administrationMaintain accurate records, spreadsheets and accounting databasesHandle customer and supplier POD requests and manage monthly rebate recordsReconcile HMRC import documentation as requiredSupport credit control and assist with month-end dutiesProvide cover for team members and support other departments when neededRequire
