The Senior RF Microwave Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Lead and play a key role in the design, development, and prototyping of advanced RF and Microwave components and sub-systems. Main responsibilities of the Senior RF Microwave Engineer, based in Lincoln:Design and manufacture multi-chip modules using both ceramic and LCP QFN packagingDevelop and build RF and Microwave components and sub-systems covering UHF to 50GHzWork on a wide range of components including Power Amplifiers, Oscillators, Mixers, Limiters, Switches, and LNAsDesign complex subsystems such as SatCom BUCs, RF over Fiber solutions, Switch Matrices, and FMCW radar systemsSupport defense-related engineering projectsTake a hands-on, results-driven approach while working both independently and within a teamManage projects from quotation through to productionMentor and support technical employeesEnsure high standards in design documentation, technical reports, and communication Requirements of the Senior RF Microwave Engineer, based in Lincoln:HNC/ Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (10+ years in a relevant role)Proficiency in RF and Microwave simulation and design tools such as ADS or Microwave OfficeExperience with mechanical CAD tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorksStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPo
