Capital Projects Project Manager

Overview
The University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Capital Projects Project Manager to join its Estates Services team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects across the University’s estate.Oxford’s estate comprises over 450 buildings, ranging from historic landmarks to cutting-edge research facilities. This role will pick projects in the Minor Capital Plan, currently running at £30m per annum and will deliver high-quality, sustainable, and innovative spaces that support world-leading research and education.This role sits within the Capital Projects team and will be responsible for managing a cross-Divisional portfolio of construction projects valued between £100k and £2m, within a wider programme of projects up to £15m. The successful candidate will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and University governance, while delivering value for money and meeting the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience in managing small to medium-sized capital projects, ideally within a complex estate environment. You will bring strong technical knowledge of building construction, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.
