You will learn from your fellow Legends and our award-winning learning academy to achieve the highest standards in craft, service, and leadership.What youll doAs a Loading Bay and Stores Supervisor, you''ll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests and colleagues:Team Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate the logistics team (promoting teamwork and a high standard of service). Delegate tasks effectively and ensure compliance with hotel policies.You will receive, check and process delivered goods into the hotel, checking goods against delivery information and purchase orders.Have a great understanding of what is being deliveredYou will liaise constantly with the Hotel Operations and on all aspects of deliveries i.e. incorrect or short deliveries.You will ensure that all the equipment within the department, scales, trolleys, computers, printers, etc. are fully functional and not a safety hazard. To report immediately should this not be the case.Ensuring that the loading bay and loading bay ramp area are kept clean, hygienic, tidy and safe to work in at all times.Recognise and maintain good relations with all colleagues, suppliers and visitorsPosting Food and Non Food invoices and delivery notes.Complete weekly rota and timesheet.Hotel Storage internal and external (currently PPM) to coordinate collection and delivery of ad hoc items.Ensure that Loading Bay, Cellar, Stores and Vans staffing level is monitored so that areas are covered in line with business requirementsKeep all team training is up to dateEnsure smooth running of daily cellar operations including EventsCoordinate Van schedules and driversThe items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Loading Bay and Stores Supervisor, but well make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change. These currently set as:Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 16:30Saturday and Sunday: 07:00 - 15:30Events 7 days
