Class 1 Driver - Leicester

Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well known parcel distribution company. If you''re confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we''d love to hear from you.

Shift Details:

- Shifts available: Monday to Sunday - Various start times between 12:00-20:00

- Pay rates:

- Basic Pay - -20.34

- Saturday - -26.36

- Sunday - -29.42

- Overtime rates are also available

What we''re looking for:

- Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card

- 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles

- Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Job role:

- RDC Trunking around different locations

- 1-4 drops per shift

- Handballing may be required, but a majority loads do not require it

- Ensure that the Company''s health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills:

- Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently

- Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles in different sites

- Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
