About Us An exciting opportunity to work as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist within the ATTACH team, a multidisciplinary therapeutic team, offering assessment and intervention to children we care for, adoptive and special guardianship families. The team is located within children''s social care, and is committed to providing high quality specialist services to support this population. The ATTACH team comprises Clinical Psychologists, Senior Practitioners and an Educational Psychologist, working with children and young people who are no longer living with their birth parents. Underpinned by an understanding of the importance of early attachment relationships and developmental trauma on all aspects of a young person''s development, ATTACH works with foster carers, SGO carers and adoptive parents to promote attachment security and positive emotional and psychological functioning. Alongside this the team plays a core role in offering psychologically informed consultation and training to colleagues in social care supporting the dissemination of knowledge and skills throughout the department.
