You will be joining their Purchasing function to support business development in an industry and organisation with high growth potential. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong connections with Global Purchasing to identify strategies and to develop suppliers both globally and locally. Gather Market Intelligence, identify major categories, analyse current spend and develop an optimal Indirect Strategy Plan Deliver the strategy through supplier relationships and multiple projects (CAPEX, Service, Energy, Maintenance, TandL contracts) Focus on and deliver strategic proactive tenders for the identified Indirect approved suppliers and purchase spend. Lead negotiations, supplier selection and align functional requirements Increase control and management of Service Contracts - e.g. best practice and avoid termination penalties; YOY cost reductions. Work with Indirect Senior Purchasing Manager and internal functions to establish QCD targets, objectives and deliver against targets KPIs. Ensure day to day issues are managed with relevant plant personnel resulting in improved quality/logistical performance. Provide support to the Purchasing Officer for continuous improvements in supplier quality and OTIF for indirect parts. When required manage release of Indirect Purchase Orders from SAP system.
