Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Procurement team at their Sheffield site.Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist Opportunity This role involves transactional buying with a strong focus on negotiation, challenging supply prices, and identifying improved suppliers to support cost optimisation. You''ll work with multiple suppliers recorded in the company''s ERP systems, ensuring efficient procurement processes and maintaining strong supplier relationships.Key Responsibilities:Negotiate pricing, challenge supplier costs, and source alternative suppliers where needed.Assist with invoice queries and pricing variances.Work with suppliers to manage lead times and minimum order quantities optimising stock levels.Generate and process purchase orders for a wide range of industry-specific components.Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost requirements are met.Liaise with internal stakeholders to align order status with operational requirements.Monitor open orders and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or shortages.Contribute to process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency.Key Requirements:Experience in a Buyer or Purchasing Coordinator role with proven supplier management skills.Experience in a high-vo
